Exhibition Review - Dorothy Cross: 'Eye of Shark' Frith Street Gallery, London till 23rd Dec 2015.
Wait while I let the room catch up
with these unsettled angles in me. - Drenched Co
Comment: "I imagined a death in this exhibition. A shark, finless, destabilised, dying becomes a receptacle for ideas around that which destabilises us -repression, desire, and eventually loss. Cross brings this receptacle to our attention and illuminates it with silver and gold, transforming it, making it live. The shark will always be there, watching, just underneath the surface, leaving a residue of gold." - FaSa.
